Release days are always special
and today is no exception. On hand to see help the seaturtles
back to the wild are our sea turtle hospital volunteers,
our nesting beach patrol
volunteers, staff from the Fort Fisher Aquarium, US Navy Corpmen on loan from
Camp LeJeune, 2007 and 2008 summer
interns along with a sprinkling of other years, all cheered on
by an enthusiastic crowd which included 300 school children.
